It is one of the most beautiful villages of Mallorca and one of the last refuges of the fishermen of the island. This town still maintains its seafaring essence and has been left out of mass tourism. It is located in a bay that houses its natural port and is guarded by one of the most emblematic lighthouses of the Balearic Islands.
Es Riuetó, as its old town is known, is a jewel crowned by the church of Mare de Deu del Carme. To know about the gastronomy of the area Portocolom is a great option, both for the quality of its restaurants and for the views to the port or the sea.

Cala Sa Nau

It is a small virgin beach of fine white sand. Bathed by crystal clear waters and surrounded by small cliffs and pine trees where nature becomes a natural shelter.
But what makes it a special and singular cove is a freshwater spring that flows into the sea. There is a free car park located about 500m away and you can reach the sand by following stone steps.

Cala Varques

It is one of the most popular beaches in the east and one of the unspoilt coves in the area along with Cala Pilota, Cala Magraner and Cala Sequer. Of these, it is the longest at 80 metres and has a small area where nudism is practiced. It has fine sand, and a stream has been created at its mouth. It can be reached either on foot following a path that crosses a forest of pines and junipers or by boat.

It is one of the most important population centres in the south of the island. The town is surrounded by three mountains of about 500m high, the highest of which is San Salvador and on its summit is the monastery of the same name, inaugurated in 1.348 AD and from which you can see practically the whole island. On the second mountain stands the Santueri Castle, which dates from 1228 AD and was carved into the rock by the Saracens before the conquest of Mallorca by the Crown of Aragon in the 13th century, and Sa Comuna.
In the 18th century the town strongly developed thanks to the export of brandy, with more than 60 distilleries. There are few that still preserve the splendour of that period like Es Sindicat, which in the future will house a plastic arts centre linked to Miquel Barceló, one of the most famous sons. In recent years Felanitx has seen a revival of high-quality wine production. It is also worth visiting the imposing 16th century Church of Sant Miquel, located in the middle of the town.
Every Sunday there is a bustling weekly market which is a perfect opportunity to buy local products, crafts and flowers.

Cala Figuera

It is a small fishing port located in a natural enclave. Cala Figuera opens into two Y-shaped arms, which are Caló d'en Busques and Caló d'en Boira. The first one houses the most protected natural harbour of the archipelago. Here you can see the traditional llaüts, visit the market with the nets drying in the sun, the small fishermen's houses, and the few small stone houses that are still standing.
Cala Mondragó

It is one of the most beautiful and impressive sea inlets on the island and is surrounded by a unique natural environment, which led to its being declared a Natural Park in 1992. It is divided into two beaches: S'Amarador and Mondragó, which are more beautiful and connected by a sandy path on the rocks by the sea. Its fine sand and shallow waters make it a perfect beach for the family, especially the youngest ones.
At the back there is a wetland inhabited by eels, water snakes and birds.
Cala Llombards

Surrounded by the village of the same name, the place has been imbued with the relaxed character of its residents, many of whom are families who stay for the whole summer. The flat, fine-sand cove has all the services you could wish for: sun loungers, a bar, parasols, and showers, and is surrounded by vegetation.
